What it does
The + steep URL button on/brews/new scrapes any public URL into clean
markdown and appends it to your brew’s context field. Powered by
Firecrawl, so JavaScript-rendered pages, blogs, docs,
and changelogs all work.
When to use it
- Pulling a competitor’s pricing page into a Strategy Brew
- Dropping a research paper or blog into a Research Brew
- Loading API docs into a Prompt Brew so the model has the latest reference
How to use it
- Open
/brews/newand pick any brew type. - Click + steep URL above the Context field.
- Paste a URL (e.g.
https://example.com/post) and hit Steep. - The page’s markdown is appended to your context. Edit freely before brewing.
Notes
- Only the main content is extracted — nav, footers, and ads are stripped.
- Large pages are truncated to keep prompts efficient.
- Steeping a URL counts against your Firecrawl credits, not your AI credits.
