# Your First Brew

> Walk through a complete Research Brew end-to-end.

## The scenario

You want a calm, structured briefing on **"Edge AI in 2026"** for your product team.

## 1. Pick Research Brew

From `/brews/new`, select the **Research Brew** card.

## 2. Fill the form

| Field         | Value                                                   |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| Title         | `Edge AI in 2026`                                       |
| Goal          | `A briefing for our product team — 5-minute read`       |
| Context | Paste any notes, links, or transcripts you've collected |
| Tone          | `calm, precise`                                         |
| Output format | `report`                                                |

## 3. Steep

Click **Steep this brew**. You'll watch the five stages run:

* **Leaves** lights up first — Scout frames the topic.
* **Steep** — Brewer drafts the report.
* **Taste** — Critic scores it (this becomes your Tea Score).
* **Pour** — Refiner polishes the final report.
* **Archive** — Archivist proposes a recipe name.

## 4. Read the Pour

Your final output has:

* `overview`
* `key_findings`
* `patterns`
* `risks`
* `next_actions`
* `social_post` (shareable one-liner)

## 5. Refine if needed

Hit **Refine**, give feedback like:

> Make the risks more concrete and add a section on hardware constraints.

The Refiner re-pours with the same schema.

## 6. Save as a recipe

If you'll do this weekly, click **Archive as Recipe** → name it `Weekly AI scan`. Next week, run it again with new context.
